EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is a metadata format for images that contains information about the shooting device, capture time, GPS location, image orientation, and more. Many photos taken with mobile phones contain rotation information, which can cause incorrect display orientation on computers.
The alpha channel is the channel in an image that stores transparency information. PNG format supports alpha channel, which enables background transparency effects. When adding watermarks, if the original image has a transparent background, exporting to PNG format preserves the transparency.
Watermark intensity depends on opacity and font size. Lower opacity (smaller value) makes the watermark lighter, suitable for situations where it shouldn't affect the main image content; higher opacity makes the watermark more visible with better anti-theft effect. Generally, it's recommended to set opacity between 30%-60%.
