FAQ

Is the keyboard test tool free?
Yes, this tool is completely free. No download or installation required. All tests run locally in your browser, no data is uploaded.
How do I test if my keyboard is working properly?
Open this tool, then press each key on your keyboard one by one. Watch the virtual keyboard to see if the corresponding key lights up. If a key doesn't respond, it may be faulty.
What is NKRO (N-Key Rollover)?
NKRO (N-Key Rollover) means the keyboard can register all keys pressed simultaneously. Standard keyboards may only recognize 6-8 keys at once, while NKRO keyboards can recognize all keys, which is important for gamers and fast typists.
Why can't some key combinations be detected?
Some key combinations may be intercepted by the browser or operating system, such as Ctrl+W or Alt+F4. This is a normal security mechanism and doesn't affect keyboard testing. We recommend testing keys individually in standard mode.
