Generate random addresses and test identities only in the 5 no-sales-tax states — Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon — with name, street, city, state, ZIP, phone and email, plus a 0% sales tax rate and tax status on every record
Every address comes from Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire or Oregon — the 5 states with no state sales tax — so it is a 0% sales tax address by design.
Each result is tagged with a 0% sales tax rate and a tax status (fully tax free / no state tax), so you can tell the states apart at a glance.
Five quick-pick buttons at the top let you generate addresses for a state instantly, with no digging through a dropdown.
Besides the address you also get a recipient name, a US-format phone number and an email — a complete test identity in one click.
Create up to 50 addresses at once, then download a UTF-8 BOM CSV (opens cleanly in Excel) or JSON that includes the tax fields.
Everything is generated randomly inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, no input is recorded, and it even works offline.
Click a Quick pick button at the top to lock onto a state, or choose one in the Tax-free state dropdown. The default is "All tax-free states (random)".
Drag the Number of records slider (1–50), choose the name gender and tick the fields you need (apartment, phone, email).
Click Generate addresses (or press Ctrl/⌘ + Enter) to instantly produce a batch of tax-free state addresses, each with a sales tax rate and tax status.
Use the copy button at the end of each row for a single address, or Copy all / Export CSV / Export JSON for everything.
Fill shipping fields for US tax-free warehouses and package-forwarding services with valid, well-formed data
Test how e-commerce, digital goods and subscription platforms apply sales tax, and confirm 0% states are detected correctly
Populate sign-up, shipping and checkout forms with tax-free state addresses to test state and ZIP validation and address autocomplete
Give prototypes, screenshots and demos believable tax-free state addresses instead of "test test" placeholders
Export CSV/JSON with the tax fields and import it straight into a database or script to build large test datasets
Use it in cross-border commerce, tax and geography classes to explain tax-free state distribution, sales tax rules and ZIP structure
In the United States, sales tax is levied at both state and local level. A "tax-free state" usually means a state that does not charge a state-level sales tax — shopping or receiving goods there produces no state sales tax. As of 2025 there are 5 such states: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon, often called the "five tax-free states".
The five states are Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Montana (MT), New Hampshire (NH) and Oregon (OR). Delaware, New Hampshire and Oregon have no state or local sales tax; Alaska and Montana have no state sales tax but allow local municipalities or resort areas to levy their own.
There are two layers. The state sales tax is indeed 0%, but local sales tax is not always zero. Delaware, New Hampshire and Oregon have no local sales tax either, making them fully tax free; in Alaska some municipalities may add roughly 0–7.5%, and in Montana a few resort areas add a local tax. The "0%" shown here refers to the state-level sales tax.
No. Sales tax applies to the consumption of goods and services, while income tax applies to personal or corporate earnings. There are 9 states with no state income tax (such as Texas, Florida, Nevada and Wyoming), and they do not overlap with the 5 tax-free states — Texas has no income tax but a notable sales tax, while Oregon has no sales tax but does tax income. Decide which tax you actually want to avoid before picking an address.
